I lit candles
My prayers are answered
An autumn leaf
Fell on the window sill
In fog and freeze
It knocks and peeps

A cloud
From a native jungle
Saw the dormant seed
Water the cracked earth
Awake the sleeping soul

Breath life
Dip the brush
In the rainbow palette
Paints again
Her faded dreams
